- Fridges and freezers
- Lithium-ion batteries and rechargeable battery items
- Gas cylinders and sealed pressure vessels
- Display screens — TVs and computer monitors
- Cooling appliances — Air-conditioning units and similar equipment
- Lighting equipment — Fluorescent tubes, lamps and bulbs
- Small domestic appliances/electrical tools with high non-metal content
- Mercury-containing equipment or materials
